RePix Privacy Policy
WorldTrend G.K. (WorldTrend合同会社), a limited liability company (godo kaisha) established under the laws of Japan (hereinafter referred to as "we", "us", "our" or the "Company"), hereby establishes this Privacy Policy (the "Policy") regarding the handling of user information in the mobile application "RePix" (the "App") that we provide, as set forth below.
1. Handling of Images
The App processes images selected by you solely on your device. Images are never transmitted to servers operated by the Company or any third party. The AI model used to enhance image quality is bundled with the App, and all processing is completed entirely on your device.
Processed images are saved to your device's photo library or shared with other applications only when you explicitly perform such an action.
Because processed images are newly generated from raw pixel data, EXIF metadata and location information (GPS) contained in the original image are not carried over.
2. Information the App Stores on Your Device
The App stores the following information on your device as necessary for its operation. None of this information is transmitted to the Company.
- The time at which the free usage allowance was last used (to determine when the free allowance is to be renewed)
- Information relating to the delivery of advertisements and to your advertising consent settings (stored by the advertising SDK and the User Messaging Platform provided by Google)
- The times at which you watched rewarded advertisements (only those within the last 24 hours; to apply the limit on the number of views and the interval between views)
- The number of times images were successfully saved and the time at which the App last asked you to rate it (to determine when to show the rating request)
In addition, copies of images may be created in a temporary storage area on your device for the purpose of image selection and sharing. These copies are never transmitted outside your device.
We do not collect or store your name, email address, telephone number, or any other information that could be used to identify you personally. No account creation or login is required to use the App.
3. Advertising
The App displays advertisements using Google AdMob, a service provided by Google LLC ("Google").
In connection with the delivery of advertisements, Google and other third-party vendors may process device information, identifiers such as advertising identifiers, IP addresses, information about your use of the App, diagnostic information, and other advertising-related data. The information processed and the purposes for which it is used may vary depending on the specifications of the SDK used, advertising settings, your region, your device settings, the policies of each vendor, and other factors. For details on how Google handles information, please refer to the Google Privacy Policy and "How Google uses information from sites or apps that use our services".
On iOS, before the advertising identifier (IDFA) is used, the App asks for your permission in advance through Apple's App Tracking Transparency framework. If you grant permission, the advertising identifier may be used to deliver advertisements tailored to your interests across apps and websites owned by other companies (tracking). Even if you do not grant permission, all features of the App remain available to you (the advertisements displayed will simply not be based on your interests). You can change your permission status at any time in the iOS Settings app under "Privacy & Security" > "Tracking".
On Android, you can reset or delete your advertising ID from your device's Settings.
For users in the European Economic Area (EEA), the United Kingdom, and Switzerland, we obtain consent regarding advertising through the User Messaging Platform (UMP) provided by Google. You can change your consent settings from within the App.
4. Network Communications
The App communicates with external servers only to retrieve advertisements, to obtain the consent described in the preceding section, and to display the rating screen. No network communication is required for image processing itself.
When the App asks you to rate it, it displays the rating screen provided by Google Play (Android) or the App Store (iOS). Your rating is not transmitted to the Company.
5. Provision to Third Parties
We do not provide user information to third parties except in the following cases:
- Where required by applicable laws or regulations
- Where necessary to protect the life, body, or property of a person and it is difficult to obtain the consent of the individual concerned
6. Children's Privacy
The App is not directed to children under the age of 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children.
7. Changes to This Policy
We may revise this Policy in response to amendments to laws or regulations or changes to the features of the App. If we make any material changes, we will notify you on this page.

9. Governing Language
This Policy has been prepared in Japanese, and this English version is provided for your convenience only. In the event of any discrepancy or inconsistency between the Japanese version and this English version, the Japanese version shall prevail.
