Chipix Privacy Policy
WorldTrend G.K. (WorldTrend合同会社), a limited liability company (godo kaisha) established under the laws of Japan (hereinafter referred to as "we", "us", "our" or the "Company"), hereby establishes this Privacy Policy (the "Policy") regarding the handling of user information in the mobile application "Chipix" (the "App") that we provide, as set forth below.
1. Handling of Images
The App converts photos selected by you into pixel art entirely on your device. Neither your photos nor the converted images are ever transmitted to servers operated by the Company or any third party.
Converted images are saved to your device's photo library or shared with other applications only when you explicitly perform such an action. Once an image is handed off to another app or service, its handling is governed by that provider's policies.
Because exported images are newly generated from the conversion result, they do not contain metadata from the original photo, such as location information (GPS).
The App does not store settings or conversion history on your device.
2. Accounts and Personal Information
The App has no account feature, and no account creation or login is required to use it. We do not collect your name, email address, telephone number, or any other information that could be used to identify you personally.
3. Advertising
The App displays rewarded advertisements (advertisements that you choose to watch) using Google AdMob, a service provided by Google LLC ("Google").
In connection with the delivery of advertisements, the following information may be collected through Google AdMob:
- Device ID (device identifiers such as the advertising identifier)
- Approximate location (a general area estimated from your IP address; precise location is not collected)
- App interactions (such as app launches and ad views and taps)
- Diagnostics (such as information about crashes and app performance)
This information is used for purposes such as delivering advertisements, measuring advertising performance, and preventing fraud. The information processed and the purposes for which it is used may vary depending on the specifications of the SDK used, advertising settings, your region, your device settings, the policies of each vendor, and other factors. For details on how Google handles information, please refer to the Google Privacy Policy and "How Google uses information from sites or apps that use our services".
On iOS, before the advertising identifier (IDFA) is used, the App asks for your permission in advance through Apple's App Tracking Transparency framework. If you grant permission, the advertising identifier may be used to deliver advertisements tailored to your interests across apps and websites owned by other companies (tracking). Even if you do not grant permission, all features of the App remain available to you (the advertisements displayed will simply not be based on your interests). You can change your permission status at any time in the iOS Settings app under "Privacy & Security" > "Tracking".
On Android, you can reset or delete your advertising ID from your device's Settings.
For users in the European Economic Area (EEA), the United Kingdom, and Switzerland, we obtain consent regarding advertising through the User Messaging Platform (UMP) provided by Google. You can change your consent at any time from "Ad privacy settings" in the App.
4. Network Communications
The App communicates with external servers only to retrieve advertisements and to obtain the consent described in the preceding section. No network communication is required for the image conversion itself.
5. Provision to Third Parties
We do not provide user information to third parties except in the following cases:
- Where required by applicable laws or regulations
- Where necessary to protect the life, body, or property of a person and it is difficult to obtain the consent of the individual concerned
6. Children's Privacy
The App is not directed to children under the age of 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children.
7. Changes to This Policy
We may revise this Policy in response to amendments to laws or regulations or changes to the features of the App. If we make any material changes, we will notify you on this page.

9. Governing Language
This Policy has been prepared in Japanese, and this English version is provided for your convenience only. In the event of any discrepancy or inconsistency between the Japanese version and this English version, the Japanese version shall prevail.
